This policy explains what personal data Ankit Chandra collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. It applies to https://ankitchandra.com only.
What is collected
Information you give directly
When you submit the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and optionally your company, website, service interest, and budget range, along with your message. When you subscribe to the newsletter, you provide your email address.
Analytics
If, and only if, you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects aggregated usage data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and referral source. IP anonymisation is enabled. No analytics script loads at all until you actively accept.
Technical logs
The hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. The contact endpoint applies a short-lived, in-memory rate limit keyed on IP address to prevent spam.

Your details are never sold, rented, or traded. You will not be added to a mailing list because you used the contact form.
Legal basis
Contact form submissions are processed on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract. Newsletter emails are sent on the basis of your consent. Analytics are processed on the basis of your consent, withdrawable at any time.
Third parties
Data may be processed by the website host, the transactional email provider used to deliver contact form submissions, the newsletter provider, and Google Analytics where consented. Each processes data on documented instructions.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to respond and, where an engagement follows, for the period required by tax and contractual record-keeping. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, or a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent for analytics at any time by clearing this site's stored data in your browser, and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any of them.

Cookies
This site sets no cookies by default. Your theme preference and cookie choice are stored in your browser's local storage and never transmitted. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept.
